Silver Oak College of Aviation Technology (SOCAT) is a DGCA Govt. of India approved college. It is a constituent college of Silver Oak University. Silver Oak University was established in 2009 as an affiliated college.
It offers courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (License Course), Cabin Crew & Airport Management (Certificate Course) & BBA/MBA Aviation. It’s a part of Silver Oak Group of Institutes acclaim for highest academic standards, diverse educational programmes, distinguished faculty, illustrious alumni, varied curricular activities and modern infrastructure. Our Goal is to provide high quality manpower in all the departments of Aviation Industry.
SOCAT is well equipped with advanced Avionics lab (Electrical System, Instrument System & Radio Navigation), Mechanical lab (Airframe & Jet Engine), General Engineering Workshop, Composite, Battery & NDT Shop & Wind Tunnel set up as per latest aviation industry requirements along with a Mock aircraft cabin and live Airport Environment in order to provide practical exposure for our students

- Skilled Faculty: The College employs a group of exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable instructors who have expertise working with a variety of airlines, maintenance repair and overhaul companies, and institutions.
- Cutting-Edge Facilities: The College is designed to resemble an actual aircraft, complete with a runway, check-in counter, reception area designed to resemble an engine cowl and aircraft window, mechanical and avionics lab furnished with real aircraft parts and equipment, and an extensive library containing aviation literature.
- Training Partner: AAR Indamer Technics Private Limited is our training partner for providing our students with hands-on instruction in accordance with CAR-147 (basic training), as well as the newest models of Boeing and Airbus series aircraft.
- On-campus aircraft: The college has fully functional Lear jets, HPT-32s, and mock aircraft for students to receive hands-on training.
- Career Support: For training and placement, the college maintains strong relationships and partnerships with many airlines.
- Industrial visit: To get further experience in the field, the college occasionally arranges technical tours or industrial visits to aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul organizations, flying clubs, and general engineering workshops.
- Holistic Development: The college prioritizes students' overall development in addition to academic excellence. To this end, extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, workshops, seminars, personality development, interview preparation, and other events are organized to broaden students' knowledge outside of the classroom.

Training Partner
AAR Indamer Technics Private Limited is our training partner in order to impart practical training to our students as per CAR – 147 (basic training) also they will be facilitated with latest versions of Boeing & Airbus series aircrafts.
AAR-Indamer Technics Private Limited is a joint venture between AAR, a major MRO of USA, with Indamer Technics (the oldest MRO in India) to setup a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
